General Info
Eye Doctor’s Optical Outlets Each Eye Doctor’s Optical Outlets location is doctor-owned, uniting the staff with a common vision to sharpen sight and boost eye health. Eye examinations reveal prescriptions and uncover any other ocular problems. After patients choose a new set of lenses, the in-house technicians get to work crafting them in the shop’s own lab rather than sending them off to be made during a summer camp’s arts and crafts day. Sundry designer frames border eyes in looks from Giorgio Armani and Marc Jacobs to Nike and Harley Davidson, and there is usually a trio of technicians in the shop, enabling multiple clients to summon help with a single pigeon call. Doctors can also help patients select the right contact lenses from brands such as Acuvue and Bausch & Lomb.

Provided by YP.comFirst waited 40 mins to pick up my glasses, when I did they where the wrong glasses and wanted to charge me extra for them when I have already paid for them. So they apologize and reordered the correct glasses.
For the second pickup I waited 1.5 hours then asked whats taking so long. Apparently they lost the signup sheet so if I never went to ask I would have been waiting even longer...
When getting my glasses they agian wanted to charge me but I explained that I already paid for them, which she then double checked and saw that I paid for them...
Completely unprofessional, extremely long lines for a simple pickup, and they attempt to take money from you each chance they have.
2 years ago I never had any of these issues with them, now they have clearly changed
Also there is literally only 4 rimless eyewear available. With only 1 being affordable, so really bad selection and service

Provided by YPmobileThese people at this optical outlet are rude & unprofessional. They charged me over $200 for progressive lenses, I couldn't read anything out of them so I went back 3 days after receiving them, the doctor re-checked my eyes & said I only need reading glasses so, she changed my glasses again however, progressive cost way more than single lenses plus the frames were mine to begin with, I asked will they be refunding me the difference because I paid for progressive which I don't have, Suzanna went to get the store manager Doris, who told me, no refund. Needless to say I flipped out because why would the doctor say I needed to wear glasses all the time & prescribe progressive then a week later all of a sudden, I only need reading glasses. They don't know what they are doing, they rob your money. If you go there, plan on being there for at least 2 hours. Again don't go there, they don't know what they are doing. You are probably better off going to Walmart optical..Good Luck if you go there!!

Provided by YP.comIt took more than two hours of waiting time to get my prescription done by the doctor who I believe comes to this location for only one half-day session in a week to see all the patients scheduled for visit during the whole week and examines each patient for two plus two or a total of four minutes. When I received the glasses after two weeks of waiting, I was not happy with the result. I have had prior experience wearing prescription eye glasses and I realized this time it was not done right. When I told this to the doctor's assistant, she told me it may take few days to adjust. So even after one week of trying when I continued seeing things blurry using the glasses, I went back to them. They scheduled me another appointment. And again after two hours of waiting I was seen by the doctor. This time she took little more than four minutes to examine and asked me to wait for the rep to call me. Finally the rep called me and said, I needed tri-focal glasses - not just bi-focal that I was prescribed and I had to pay again for that glasses. I realized that all they are doing is making money without any concern for customer satisfaction. I came out with a promise not to go there again.

Provided by YP.comMy husband had the worst experience there. Don't go there if you don't have to.
After seeing the optometrist my husband was told to go out to the front and speak with the customer service rep about picking out a frame for himself. When he approached her, she told him that all the frames were against the wall and to go help himself. This is a crock. You need their help to pick out frames depending on the size of your face and type of lenses you are getting. After picking out a frame on his own he then waited by the desk for her to help him (she was assisting another customer by this time). When she was done with that customer he was getting ready to sit down at the desk because he was next; however, she rudely told him that he would have to wait and she proceeded to walk over to some other woman who had walked into the store long after my husband arrived. My husband complained to the optometrist and the store manager and was also told by the optometrist that the frame he ultimately picked out were women's frames (not men's). The only consideration they gave him was a discount on his frames. The store was supposed to call him when his glasses came in but after about 2-1/2 weeks he called the store himself and was told that his glasses had been there awhile waiting for him to pick them up. When he came home I asked him if that customer service rep that was rude and ignorant to him during his first visit was still there and he said yes. She should've been fired for the way he was treated. Read some of the other reviews on other websites and you will notice that the reviews are basically the same. They should close this store down.

Provided by YP.comMy wife went to this location for an eye exam and glasses.
The place is filthy!
The eye doctor was a very nice gal. Her eye exam of my wife was poor and incomplete. She was in a hurry to get it done. She never check my wife's peripheral vision and other aspects of what an eye exam should be.
The help were not very helpful once they realized my wife was not going to buy a lot of the useless extras they try to sell.
Would never go back to this place even if the exam was good. Just to dirty.

Provided by YP.comWhen I first called to schedule an appointment, I was told by Marjorie about the specials that they were offering customers. On the day of my appointment, I was offered by Norma the same specials but at a higher price. I didn't have any other choice but to purchase from them because the doctor had already given me the eye exam. The selection that they have of glasses that are included in these packages are from the 1970's. They are so cheap that the reading glasses that are sold at Walmart for $6.79 are better. Now I am having problems getting a rebate I was told I would get once I placed my order. I got my rebate from Bausch & Lomb with no problems. I was told I would get another rebate from Optical Outlet. All I needed to do was go online and follow the steps. THERE ARE NO STEPS ON THEIR WEBSITE AND NO REBATE INFORMATION. When I called the store, apparently no one knew anything about another rebate. An employee (Norma) stated she would have to get her corporate office involved because she had never heard of another rebate. AGAIN, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM OPTICAL OUTLET BECAUSE IT WILL BE THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE YOU'VE EVER HAD. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE AWFUL AND THEIR GLASSES ARE CHEAP!!!!!
