Kirtland Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school operates a variety of departments, such as English, reading, math, science and social studies. In addition, it offers a range of electives and exceptional programs. Kirtland Middle School s academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, reading and physical education. The school offers a program in social studies that includes classes in history, geography, economics, culture, government and citizenship. Kirtland Middle School operates a music department that offers programs in music theory, voice classes, and concerts and symphonic bands. Its athletics department offers various sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, football and volleyball. Kirtland Middle School also provides a range of clubs and extracurricular activities.
