Kirksville Middle School enrolls more than 550 students and offers classes from grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, math, science and technology, social studies, health education, English, foreign languages, computer science, arts and crafts, music and physical education. It offers various clubs and extracurricular activities, including quiz bowl, arts and creative writing club, science Olympiad, National Junior Beta Society, academic team, and outdoor club. The school also has athletic teams for basketball, cheerleading, softball, football, wrestling, and athletics. It has a fully equipped library and media center that has a large collection of books on various topics and offers access to the Internet. The school offers guidance and counseling sessions to students. Located in Kirksville, Mo., the school is a part of the Kirksville R-III School District.
