      Located in Kirkland, Wash., Kamiakin Junior High School is part of the Lake Washington School District. The school offers classes in various subjects, including mathematics, English, science and technology, social studies, health education, computer science, humanities, arts and crafts, music and physical education. The school has athletic teams for badminton, softball, football, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, baseball and tennis. The school has a fully equipped library and media center that has a large collection of books, encyclopedias and biographies, and offers access to the Internet. Its facility also comprises a gymnasium and a computer laboratory. Kamiakin Junior High School serves the educational needs of more than 700 students, and offers classes from grades seven through nine.
