I've been seeing Suzan since 2006 when I was expecting my first child. I switched to her at 25 weeks as my earlier care provider was not offering the attention and care this first time expectant mom needed! Subsequently, she's monitored my care with my 2 other children and has been right with me as I'm moving into this next stage of my life( +40!) Suzan keeps herself well educated, and up to date on current research and is practical, compassionate and understanding. Yes, she gives excellent care so often runs late, but I have learned to factor that into my appoinment as I know that she's given me those extra few minutes when I'm in her care. Sara offers the same wonderful care on the phone and upon check in.

When I first went to Susan she was the only one who figured out what was wrong with me, for which I will forever be grateful. But then she kept ordering test after test that was unnecessary and very expensive (one test was $3300 for the ins. and my part was over $600). Her bedside manner is definitely lacking as she was very rude when to me I questioned her on why do I need these test. I just wanted to know what they were for and she got insulted that I would question her decision to get those test done. I told her I'm not questioning her capabilities as I just wanted to know what the test were for. She was still a little bit pissy with me for the rest of my appointment. I didn't the test done (my new doctor said I did the right thing) and I will never go back because of her attitude!!!!!

Sometimes there's a long wait, but she is definitely worth the wait. I had a sensitive issue that I was having trouble getting resolved (my previous provider's ultimate response was, "Let's just cut into it and see if that makes things better"). Susan was incredible sensitive to my problem and put me at ease immediately with the way she talked to me and clearly cared. She had my problem resolved in a very short time. I actually moved some distance away from her, but I think I'll still make the drive for my annual - I can't imagine seeing anyone else!

Susan has taken care of my needs as well as both my unborn childrens. She makes you feel very special and takes the time to listen. Like any doctor, she runs behind but is very apologetic also. She is up to date on the most current research and tests and is not afraid to tell you to step up to the plate and get with the program! She is a very compassionate Dr. and someone I would call with the smallest concerns. Thank you Susan & Sara (receptionist) For being so wonderful!

The best woman's dr in the area hands down. She is always completely up to date on all the latest research, and has a knowledgable opinion on the results of these studies. She has an uncanny ability in finding the root source of a problem instead of just treating the symptoms. My mother had seen several specialists who specialized in each of the things that was wrong with her but Watanabe figured out the common denominator (which was very obscure) and started treating it. My sister and I also have had our lives changed because of her amazing care. Her receptionist is amazing too. Very good with follow up. Even after I moved I still am able to call her and get my questions answered.

I was scheduled to be the first appointment that day and had to wait forty five minutes to be seen. I felt that she brushed off my concerns and was more focused on getting more patients thru the office versus really listening to my needs. I will find another provider.
