      Cherokee Middle School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic programs for students in grades six through eight. The school also provides instruction in language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers various athletic opportunities, such as baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, cross-country, and track and field. Cherokee Middle School maintains the Beta Club, as well as organizes Bible study sessions. The school offers special education programs and maintains a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraisers. It additionally provides a variety of food items for lunch. Cherokee Middle School supports the MATHCOUNTS program, as well as organizes field trips. It is governed by Roane County Schools.
