We took our lab to intergrity following a car accident where she suffered a broken hock. Dr. Nunn answered right away in took us in after hours, this was the highlight of our experience. Nunn proceed to give us hope that her leg could be saved with a splint. However, when we went back for a check up we were told that her leg was not healing. Dr. Nunn did not even come out to speak with us about our dog, he sent a technician each time. The cast they wrapped her in this day was quite pathetic, something a 5 year old could do. After the splint failed that we were told may have hopes of succeeding we may be resulting in amputation. This was not a pleasant experience for us or our dog.
Professional & helpful. Called last minute and they helped provide me with proper documents. Highly recommend
If you take your pet to Integrity to be boarded, make sure you get the price per night in writing. We took our pet there and was quoted one price but when we pick him up, they charged us 10.00 extra per night and said they had a price increase and would not honor the original price they quoted me.
I recently drove from Charleston, SC to Kingsland, GA to have Dr. Nunn do an ACL repair on my prized Chocolate Lab. I was referred by my brother who had his dogs ACL repaired by Dr. Nunn about a year earlier. Dr. Nunn was competent and to the point. He has a great staff that was very kind to me. He runs a very busy clinic and I believe that really says something about his skills. It's been six weeks since the surgery and my lab is doing great. She needs a little more time to heal but I can tell that she is going to be just fine. Thanks to Dr. Nunn and staff for running you clinic with such passion and INTEGRITY. At your clinic I learned that integrity still means something.
There is none better than Dr. Nunn! I called after hours last night and he answered right away! He met me and my almost 15 year old Peekapoo in the time it took ME to drive to the office. He took care of the problem, instructed me how to handle it in the future and was so calm and kind! This morning my Stanley is walking and eating and I wasn't sure on the way there last night that would be the outcome. Dr. Nunn did an emergency c section at like 4 am for my other dog back in 2004. That single puppy and her mother would not have made it if not for him and Integrity Animal Hospital. Polly the puppy will be 11 tomorrow and Integrity has been her Vet home her whole life. While on vacation two years ago, my Peekapoo had the same problem with his bladder and a hernia, needless to say the big fancy Vet clinic available there was cold, didn't do anything to relieve his condition and it cost me 4 times what Integrity would have and wanted to do a surgery that I have a written estimate for that was going to be almost 4 times what Integrity would have cost me for the same procedures. I brought him back to Georgia and Dr. Nunn did all the procedures and diagnostic tests there in his office. The out of state vets didn't think he was fixable because he was over 10, but advised me to have the surgery anyway. That was 2 years ago! Stanley is going to be 15 yrs. old in March and is one blessed dog to have Dr. Nunn as his Vet! Thank You Dr. Nunn for coming out last night and being the most awesome vet ever!
Very friendly and reasonable. I could not ask for better to take care of my babies.
They offer decent prices for their services. They will write you a prescription if you want to get your antibiotics free from some place else--unlike Laurel Oaks Animal Hospital who REFUSED to write a script so I can get my pet's meds from someplace else!! The only thing that concerned me was that when they used the laser treatment on my dog, they did not use the safety glasses that they are supposed to use as well as provide to the pet owner. I work with lasers so I know the dangers of them and the safety glasses were on the cart she brought in but she never offered them or bothered to use them herself. I could have attempted to tell her to wear the proper protective gear, but I didn't want to look like a jerk since my pet needed the treatment. Either way, I was overall pleased with the service they provided and all the ladies there are nice.
I have nothing BUT good to say about Dr. Nunn and his staff. The receptionists are often busy, but I have found them to be very caring about the animals. I love the availability, the top-notch care, the fact that I NEVER have to wait when I make an appointment, and that I feel Dr. Nunn will always shoot me straight and not try to sell me on unnecessary tests (like some others in the area). My current dog and past have loved going to the vet - not many can say this. I love that I have a vet who will be available in an emergency.
It's all in how you look at it. My family has lived in this area for about 9 years. Shortly after moving here on Easter Sunday 2003 our cat became very ill. We called two or three places. Dr. Nunn of Integrity responded and treated our cat - during Easter Sunday Church hours. He didn't even charge extra for the emergency call in. We couldn't believe it. Dr. Nunn has cared for our three cats and now two dogs ever since.
Nine years later (May 2012) we have a brand new 9 week old German Shepherd puppy and she is bitten by a poisonous snake (pygmy rattler) in our back yard. We called the office around 6pm and got an emergency phone number for the vet. We called and Dr. Nunn answered directly. He gave us instructions for what to do immediately and what to watch for, and told us to call back in 15 to 20 minutes if symptoms worsened. Ultimately he met us at his office 30 minutes after we hung up from the second call. (It take us 30 minutes to get to his office.) He treated our puppy with laser light, gave her a shot for swelling and antibacterial purposes. He told us to call in the morning depending upon her symptoms. We ended up returning the next day for more laser light therapy and a couple prescriptions. The prices were more than reasonable. Dr. Nunn charges his clients for veterinary services, not interior decorating. I would send my best friend there (as a matter of fact I have).
If the staff ever seem short or unfriendly it is only because they are greatly concerned about not having the time to give you their full attention when there are a lot of calls and walk-ins at once. All the staff from front desk to vet techs are caring and kind individuals. Have no reservations in really getting to know this office!
I called Integrity on a Wednesday because my dog was walking around in circles and falling over. On Wednesday afternoon I guess there is no Vet in the office or on call. Michelle a technician stated that the dog was probably having a stroke or heart attack and that I should come in the following day. I guess a stroke or heart attack don't count as an emergency at this office.
