  Jennifer Schwantes is the Owner of Extreme Looks Salon and is also a Master Stylist. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2001 and she is certified in multiple Hair Extension applications, as well as Eye Lash Extension application, color correction, and keratin treatment. Jennifer Schwantes has a unique taste for style, which is shown not only in her work, but in the style and decor of the salon. Her dream of creating a one of kind salon came to fruition in 2010 with the opening of Extreme Looks. She continues to service her clients while running the salon, and specializes in hair extensions but has vast experience in all hair services. Jennifer also does both traditional and airbrush make up applications in addition to the various hair services she offers.   Sori Cortes is a licensed Nail Specialist and licensed Esthetician. She received her Nail Specialty licensure from John Paolo Xtreme Beauty Institute in 2012 and later received her Esthetician license in 2017. Sori joined the Extreme Looks team in 2012 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. She operates her independent business, BeautyFly, from within Extreme Looks Salon. She brings a unique blend of style, service, and design into her work, giving her customers an unmatched experience.  Her custom nail design art is truly unique and has earned accolades from her customers around the Capital Region.  In addition to her nail services, she provides a wide range of skin services such as facials and waxing as well as make up services.   Extreme Looks was founded in 2010 by Jennifer Schwantes. After nearly a decade of experience within the Beauty business, Jennifer wanted to fulfill her dream of opening her own salon. After several discussions with her husband, Ryan Schwantes, who happens to be a business professional himself, Jenny decided to fulfill her dream. Her dream was to create an atmosphere that was unlike any traditional box style salons. The salon was built from the ground up and outfitted with custom furniture and decor throughout the salon. The style and feel of Extreme Looks are truly unlike other salons. In addition to the stylish look of the salon, Jennifer wanted the overall atmosphere of the salon to be upbeat, vibrant, fun, and friendly. The result of Jennifer’s creative style and vision is Extreme Looks. From the moment you enter the salon, you’ll see and feel the difference. She wanted to create a boutique type salon that still offered a full array of hair, skin, and nail services one would expect at a full service salon. Jennifer had the vision of creating a salon of highly skilled stylist that could offer clients the very best care all under one umbrella.  All stylists on the Extreme Looks team are independent master stylists who have several years of experience in the beauty industry.
