We had our driveway done May 24th this year. They started the job but ran out of asphalt three quarters of the way through. They told us they would be back to finish the job in a few days and did so but the new asphalt failed to match. The driveway ended up looking terribly and needless to say we were very displeased. We left a deposit but wouldn't pay a dime until the situation was remedied. The owner was never on site at the time of paving but what was worse is the owners father. He came to the house threatening to put a lean on our house while cussing us out in the process. We will not pay for unsatisfactory work and they have no intentions to fix the driveway. The owners father insisted that a seal coat would fix the issue but we shouldn't have to seal coat a brand new driveway to fix it. The driveway looks horrendous from a cosmetic perspective. There's seam marks from when they ran out of asphalt. Also all over the driveway is permanent rust marks caused from the steam roller.
