Me and my husband went there for the 1st time. The floors were VERY dirty, we waited for about 30 or more minutes for our cold food to arrive. We never saw our server again after she took our order. Was not a good time or good food

We were two couples just passing through on a Monday night almost at closing and found the friendly folks at this home-style food restaurant. The young man who waited on our table was smiling and always attentive to our requests. The flavor and goodness of the food frankly surprised us. The beef on rice with gravy, green peppers and onions was delicious. One friend really enjoyed the chicken livers entree. My other friend, who grew up on mountain cooking, really enjoyed his country ham and fried squash (lightly battered). My banana pudding was thicker in texture than I am used to, but tasted as good or better than any banana pudding I have had. It was simple dining in a pleasant atmosphere at reasonable prices...and sweet iced tea to boot. We travel a lot to Charlotte for air trips out of the state, and we will stop more often at the Mountain View Restaurant. Congrats, Kings Mountain!

highly recommend... small town restaurant with real big taste... Me and my wife love this place. Great value with great food. You get more than what you pay for. We eat there and always get a meal to go.When we stay in Charlotte for the weekend we always make the drive down to finish our weekend off with dinner there.

Best grits and toast in town.
