The MAST Academy, also known as Maritime and Science Technology High School, offers learning opportunities to students in grades 9 through 12. The academy s curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, Spanish, music, math, physical education and social studies. It manages book, camping, dance, salsa and drama clubs. The MAST Academy also encourages students to take part in a range of athletic activities, including golf, sailing, softball, swimming and tennis. The academy offers participation options in several student organizations, such as the National Honor Society and the Future Business Leaders of America. In addition, it provides guidance counseling services. The MAST Academy is a part of Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
