Located in Minster, Ohio, Precision Strip offers a wide variety of services, such as cutting, slitting and blanking of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum flat-rolled products. The company operates on a toll basis in which it processes metal for a fee without taking ownership. Its customers include metal producers and manufacturers in the automotive, appliance and metal furniture industries. Precision Strip maintains facilities in Alabama, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky and Ohio. Founded in 1977, it is a subsidiary of metal processor and distributor, Reliance Steel & Aluminum. It operates facilities of more than 2 million square feet of building space that houses 20 slitting lines, five cut-to-length lines, three oscillate slit lines, one blanking line and one perforating line.
