Meridian Elementary School is one of the oldest schools in the Kent School District and offers a verity of learning opportunities for the academic, social, emotional and physical development of children. It enrolls more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as mathematics, reading, writing, social studies and science. It also offers instruction in music, physical education and library skills. Meridian Elementary School offers a variety of special programs, including free or reduced-price meals, special education, transitional bilingual and migrant education.
