Emerald Park Elementary is a learning center that is located in Kent, Wash. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade six. It provides general academic programs and conducts English Language Learners classes. The school also supports classes in music and physical education, as well as offers extracurricular activities, such as band and orchestra. Emerald Park Elementary operates a student council, chorus, and rocket, homework and climbing clubs. The school has a parent-teacher-student association that sponsors events, including family writing and skate nights. Its staff includes literacy coaches, reading instructional assistants, math interventionists and paraeducators. Emerald Park Elementary is governed by the Kent School District.
