I wish there was a way to give this business negative stars. We went in to replace a cooktop, wall oven and microwave. Even though I explained what we needed, the salesman told me I was mistaken, that we did not need an all in one microwave and oven, we actually needed two separate pieces. So we made the purchase. When their recommended installer came to the house to put them in, he explained ed that what we actually needed was a microwave and oven in one. So we went back to Fred's. It was close to closing tome, but the guy we talked to said they would be glad to refund our money first thing the following morning . The next morning, we got a call stating that since we had paid by check, the Kennewick store would not be able to give us a refund. The corporate office in Spokane would cut us a check on Friday and drop it in the mail. And everyone there is trained to say "We have policies we have to follow". The WORST case of customer disservice we've ever experienced. We should have known by the empty parking lot. Buyer beware. I would recommend that no one attempt to do business here.

Bought a Jenn-Air range. Salesman failed to mention that they do not install downdrafts. First time range was turned on it blew like a firecracker. Defective stapled part through the wiring harness. Waited 12 days for replacement parts. Both Fred' s and Jenn-air say the are honoring the manufacturer agreement. Parts installed and yet another issue. Manager at Fred's will not return my calls. Buyers beware they may sell many products but won't stand behind anything but the warranty. I am very disappointed and thought buying Family Owned Local was supposed to be a positive experience in the community.

I bought a Frigidaire dish washer 1 year ago. 13 days after warranty expired it needed a new door seal. Frigidaire covered the parts at no cost. Fred's charged me $184.06 for labor and trip charger. the unit cost 389.0 new. What a rip off!!! I'm stil trying to work with Fred's but with no luck.

Bought my Kitchenaid refrigerator from them and a Fisher Paykel W/D. Love both of them, had a problem getting the washer on time, Fred's upgraded the washer so it could be delivered on time. My sister bought a refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave on my recommendation for the store she is also happy with the service and I am.

I was very disappointed with the sales people. Very pushy, talked my husband into a Samsung VRT Washer and Dryer rather than the Electrolux set I had asked him to get me. I have never been more unhappy with an appliance. Next time keep opinions to yourself and sell the customer what they ask for.

This store has terrible service. We were there for around 30 mins, two sales persons were standing around doing nothing and they didn't even approach us. Five minutes before we left, the third sales person became available and nothing, didn't even approach us either. They just lost a BIG sale, our builder recommends them, even had a quote from them for all our appliances, but this kind of service does not deserve our business.
