I'm the crazy, creative mother of three little girls. I've overcome many nursing challenges and succeeded in tandem and extended breastfeeding. I’ve experienced the sweet bliss of nursing a darling little angle one minute and next, WHACK! Being slapped, pinched, hair pulled, and bra snapped (my favorite)! What a struggle it is to keep baby focused and latched… especially in public! Am I right?! Not to mention the teething pain... The fussiness and crying seems to go on for months! I've also had the joy of navigating dietary choices with three colicky babies with dairy intolerance. Taking care of a baby is hard work! I'm not sure if you’re tired too? I was so exhausted I told my husband I needed a prescription for a coma so I could get some sleep! Hahaha... Desperate times folks! It’s no wonder that women faced with an unplanned pregnancy are afraid of this unbelievably demanding role of parenthood and often consider abortion. I experienced a miscarriage at 11 weeks and my perspective of the value of human life cemented firmly in my soul. Don’t tune me out here… I held our dead baby… the size of a tablespoon… with fully formed fingers and toes… a powerfully transforming experience. I am now passionate about life and helping mothers choose life. Every person is created equal and deserves the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I’ve started CHEWSYOU so I can work from home where my primary focus is nurturing, teaching, and shepherding my children. My hearts’ desire is to use my creative ability for a worthwhile purpose. I hand make my designs with the imagination and inspiration God has given me. Ephesians 4:28 (ESV) says, “Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.” The idea for the name CHEWSYOU came from a message that stirred my heart deeply. I learned that God wants a relationship with me because I am His child. Hesed is the term used to describe God’s loving kindness—the consistent, ever-faithful, relentless, constantly pursuing, lavish, extravagant, devoted, unrestrained, one-way love of God. Friends, this is the love YOU have for your baby. The love the Father has for YOU! Powerful love beyond all measure. It’s because of God's great love for me that He chose me and pursued me when I was lost. I
