      Poplar Bluff, Kennett Orthodontist, Dr. Courtney Atkinson is a Missouri native who grew up in Saint Louis. She provides braces and Invisalign to children and adults in Poplar Bluff and Kennett, Missouri. Dr. Atkinson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Louis University receiving her Bachelors degree in Biology. It was during her undergraduate studies that she developed an interest in orthodontics. While at Saint Louis University, her father underwent orthodontic treatment. After seeing the impact it made in her fathers life, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Southern Illinois University and became passionate about being able to transform others lives through orthodontics helping to create a new sense of happiness self-assurance in the lives of her patients. I like to see how changing a smile can change a persons life and outlook. Dr. Atkinson is married with two step-sons, a yellow lab, Ezekiel, and a Maine Coon cat named Micah. When she is not creating beautiful smiles, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, photography, church, traveling, reading and outdoor activities.
