Palmer Middle School offers learning options to more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. It provides classes in math, science, physical education and social studies. The school administers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. Palmer Middle School offers various extracurricular activities, such as orchestra, band and chorus. It operates a parent-teacher-student association and provides guidance counseling services. The school manages a cafeteria that offers a variety of food items for lunch. Palmer Middle School operates geo tech and yearbook clubs, as well as provides speech therapy. It conducts soccer and basketball tournaments and has partnerships with Hoopinsocker Chiropractic and Ted's Montana Grill. The school is a part of the Cobb County School District.
