I just bought a house in the old Metairie area and was informed of a tree protection law .Since I knew nothing about this I called the parks and parkway .After I met with a few companies I choose Hoover Tree. Mr. Hoover came out was certified and very knowledgeable.The day the crew came out it started to rain but mr. Hoover and the crew continued to do the job in between the showers I was so impressed .Wish the rest of my contractors were as pleasant to work with.I highly recommend!

By far the BEST TREE SERVICE company around!!! We had a large tree fall in our front yard and deemed hazardous by our insurance company and had to have it removed immediately. Called 3 different tree companies, only to be told by 2 of them that removing my tree was too dangerous, and having the other one say they couldn't get to it for another two weeks, but for an "emergency rate" (which was double the original price!!) they'd be there the next day. After stressing out, looked up some more tree companies and , thank God, came across Hoover Tree Experts. The owner himself came out the same day and was not only EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGABLE and personable, but also gave us options and was willing to work with us. He was there the next morning and did an amazing job! Definitely will be using Hoover Tree for all our tree services! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Positive arbor experience with Hoover Tree Experts. My backyard large maple trees needed trimming and thinning. Received a reasonable estimate followed up with excellent quality in a job well done. The company is family owned and operated since 1957. Believe in supporting the local community.

I don't kno what other people are talking about not too professorial and friendly.... My neighbors have gotten a rotten magnolia tree removed yesterday and they laid all the branches in my front yard and when they picked up the branches the bobcat left diviets and gashes in my yard. Talk to a guy and told him about it and he said it not my problem so I would recommend these people and I didn't even get a tree cut down

Very friendly and on time. The crew was very clean cut and professional and their equipment was fairly new and well kept. They had all necessary insurance as well.

After two other bids, they were priced right in the middle but they were more detailed. We've used other companies in the past and these guys were more efficient and knowledgeable then anyone else we've used. Great job and thanks!

We had a tree fall down and although it didn't cause damage, it was very unsightly. Unfortunately, it happened on a Thursday night and we had family coming the next day to stay for the weekend. When we couldn't get anyone else to come out on such short notice, Mr. Hoover came himself and worked late in the day Friday to improve the appearance of our home just as our guests were arriving. The price was very fair, although I will say, he ended up working for two of our neighbors after us. Definitely recommend.
