Sat in front of the Kitchen. Watched my food be Microwaved. It had a T.V. dinner quality. I won't be back.

We ate there for lunch today and I thought the food was great. Me and my buddy ordered nachos as an appetizer but it was more like a meal for both of us. The rice and beans were freshly made and the enchiladas were great. You can actually choose what kind of suace you want to add on them. My buddy ordered the chicken fajitas he said they were great. I definately recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food great customer service and a full belly. Your ROI is protected.

Okay, I have to say this is absolutely one of the best restaurants around!
The very definition of "hole in the wall", "don't judge a book by the cover" or "hidden treasures"!!!
Tres Casas is much bigger than it appears, they've definately cleaned up the atmosphere, and made several well designed upgrades and additions to the establishment..... Having the option of sitting inside or out is an understatement - inside has 10 - 12 tables (2-4 seats each) that can be pushed together for larger parties when needed.
The patio, wow - it has I believe 16 to 20 tables, ao quite a bit bigger than the inside dining area. Now usually restaurants have to close their patios depending on the weather - being to hot or to cold.... Not here! You'll be greatly surprised to see strategically placed 6' propane heating lamps and a few other heating elements for the cold weather and then for the Texas heat they have several well placed economy sized fans and various misters throughout the seating area.
There is a tinted/ventilated patio cover over the entire area to prevent the harsh sun or flying insects from ruining your dining expierence! There is garden area to add to the ambiance and a few nice planters between the tables.

And that is just the getting comfortable before you enjoy you meal!
Salsa, WOW! - Chips -SUPER WOW!
The salsa is homemade daily & the chips are thin, crispy and warm! They have GREAT QUESO, not the Imitation cheese or powdered junk some places use - but it has the consistancy,taste & look of velveeta so I'm sure it is. Adding they're salsa w/it and ground hamburger or chicken to it, you can't get better!
My boys and I go here at least once every few weeks, they have remembered us since the 2nd visit - bringing us our drinks w/out asking, remembering what we like and don't like - and all the special request my younger son asks for. Even if were just placing a to-go order, they know it's us and get it right everytime!
The servers are nice, knowledgable and know when to come to your table and when not to. The don't disappear on you leaving you wondering if they going to take your order or if your meals coming ---- and you don't have the dreaded wait time from when your finished eating and ready to get your check (I hate this wait the worst)! They are on it! Bringing boxes & the check when they notice your ready to head out!
Now in saying this, that doesn't mean that they are at your table every 30 seconds either (another peeve of mine), they do not talk a whole lot, in a good way - they're there to get the job done and do it well! So they simply take care of the orders, deliveries of course they verify that everything is outstanding & get te necessary refills taken care of - and leave you to your dinner companions to enjoy yourselves!!!

Suggestions, we love the fajita soft tacos, fish tacos, fajita quesadillas and of course queso w/hamburger meat to go with the chips.
