Branch employee wouldn't cash it because there was no stamp on it from mortgage company. Went back to mortgage company, they don't use stamps, what was on the check was correct. Back to Wells Fargo. "They don't use stamps, here's the branch managers phone number". Her response was, "They have to use stamps because we use stamps." HELLO, IT'S A DIFFERENT COMPANY, MAYBE THEY DO THINGS DIFFERENT THAN YOU DO?! She had no desire to call mortgage company for verification, said I'd have to come back when the manager was there. Forget it. As my wife and I walked out I overheard her telling a co-worker, "they're supposed to have a stamp, I don't think the check was real." That made me more angry than anything else.
