Beck Junior High School serves students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, social studies, mathematics and science. It additionally offers the English as a Second Language program and gifted and talented education. Beck Junior High School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, including volleyball, football, basketball, track and field, tennis and golf. The school s extracurricular activities include the National Junior Honor Society, academic pentathlon and student council. It has a fine arts department that includes beginning instruction and advanced performing groups in orchestra, choir, band, theater and art. Beck Junior High School is located in Katy, Texas, and is a part of the Katy Independent School District.
