No matter where you have been in life, you are welcome at Journey Church. We believe every person is worthwhile and God has a plan for their life. Journey Church is a group of passionate people, seeking authentic relationships, so that we can reach the City of Katy and beyond with the limitless potential of the working of Jesus Christ. We do 4 Things: * Worship (Sunday Services) * Grow (Growth Track & Discipleship) * Connect (Small Groups meet weekly) * GO (Missional Living & Serve! Our Core Values:We value people more than programs. We believe that every person is worth while and God has a plan for their life. We are defiantly optimistic in ministry. We believe in being risky in ministry. Because ultimately it’s not about us, it’s about them. We believe that God honors risk taking, and moving out of the boundaries of safety, practicality and conventional wisdom. CHILDREN: We are passionate about actively engaging and inspiring our children to become who God has called them to e. We feel it is the Church’s responsibility to provide avenues for learning while coaching parents, however, the full responsibility lies with Mom and/or Dad. - Proverbs 22:6 ACTIVE MISSION: There is a time for conversation, and a time for action. For Journey Church the time for action is NOW! We feel it is our mandate to actively engage in the funding, leading and serving a missional life. We are to reach the widow, the orphan the homeless and our neighbors both regionally and globally. This is not a mandate that we take lightly. We believe we are responsible for removing the blinders of narcissism and make a difference in our city, our nation and our world. - Isaiah 58:6-8 INTENTIONAL LIVING: We live life on purpose, striving after our God given destiny, looking at the future with limitless possibilities. We love to have a blast in everything we do, and welcome people who feel the same. We dream big, run fast, and focus on living a Christ centered life. - Philippians 3:13-14 CHANGING YOUR PERCEPTION: We want to change your perception and remove any preconceived negative notion you may have about Christ, the Church & Christianity. We provide a coffee bar for Sunday services. Our coffee is a premium blend from Uganda through the company Three Avacados. 100% of the proceeds from our purchase and any donations towards coffee go 100% to build water wells in the national of Uganda.
