Pierpont’s boasts an extensive and evolving wine cellar with more than 350 bottle selections and numerous offerings by the glass. Our awe-inspiring two story mahogany bar with its rolling library ladder maintains an abundant wine list from around the globe, rare single malts, small pot distilled bourbons, gins from Holland, Icelandic vodkas, and fine Mescal tequilas from the southern tip of Mexico, all to enhance your culinary selections. Pierpont's is renowned as the home to the most popular Happy Hours in the 816. More than a restaurant, Pierpont's brings a historical essence role to Kansas City's vast history, named after the prominent railroad baron, J.P. (Pierpont) Morgan; Sixty percent of the restaurant's three-story structure is historical space, including the original women's smoking room, the women's waiting room, and the women and children's waiting room. Pierpont's was selected as the best architecturally designed restaurant as well as the best place to take out-of-town guests. Pierpont's turn of the century décor complements the elegant backdrop to a casual, yet ornate dining experience for all to enjoy.
