Very nice until you sign the contract. Then - horrible. Rude - condescending - self centered - unhelpful. He and his staff make you fell like you are bothering them.

Been a patient of dr crist since july 2011. the last time I was able to get more than 3 words out of him regarding my braces was on my consultation. he doesnt tell me how everything is going or what is going to happen next or how much longer i'm going to have my braces on when i go to my appointments. EVER. evertime I go i have absolutley no idea whats going to happen or my progress. he just looks at my teeth and tells the assistant what to do and then he's gone to the next. if i ask him a question i never get an actual answer. reason why i'm giving him 2 stars is because the staff is nice.

After 2+ years of treatment for my child, I won't go into details of the many events that helped me form my opinion about Dr. Crist's patient care; suffice it to say that his entire practice is set up for Dr. Crist's convenience, with little consideration given to patient needs; especially if care is needed during the daily 2 1/2 hour lunches or closed hours which far exceed when care is available. During these off times neither he nor his staff are available for emergencies or simple corrections for the patient's comfort that require only minutes of an assistant's time.



When a patient calls with an urgent need they are told that it will be 2-3 weeks before they can be seen because the office needs to have a chair available. Yet when you finally get in for the 'urgent' care, most chairs are empty!!!



If you miss an appointment for whatever reason, they reschedule for another 2-3 week wait. Dr. Crist's staff doesn't have the courtesy to call patients and remind them of the appointment as other offices are happy to do, no matter how long the patient has been waiting to get in and they never offer to call if there's a cancellation either.



There is a reason his fees are lower than other Orthodontists--you get what you pay for!
