I've seen Dr Thompson 3 year's now, he's always courteous and spends time with you each appointment to address any and all concerns you have.

This doctor's office is a wreck. A coworker recommended that my boyfriend go here since it was close to the house and my doctor is a 25 minute drive away. Biggest mistake we could have made. They are housed in a crummy little office off Broadway and their staff isn't very personable. He went for an initial physical/ check-up as a new patient and also explained that he had been having a lot of stomach pain, especially in the mornings, and was wanting to figure out why. Instead of trying to get to the bottom of this, they just brushed it off and told him to make sure his diet is nutritious. He works out 3-5 times a week and eats a very healthy diet, so this was not very constructive advice.



About 8 months down the line, he was at work at was struck by a large metal pole on a semi. It hit him with about 150 pounds of pressure to his jaw, enough force that it broke several of his teeth. When he came to Dr. Thompson again, he wasn't available and saw "Ashley", the nurse practitioner. She prescribed him Tylenol 2, which on any website says it is prescribed for MILD pain, cough and arthritis. He was treated like a child and was told that anything sufficient to help treat his pain "made the doctor uncomfortable" as if to imply that my boyfriend would abuse or misuse the medication. After having his face smashed in with a huge piece of steel, I would expect a little more concern out of a doctor. Then they billed the appointment incorrectly to insurance and instead of wanting to work with us, they chose to argue. Needles to say, he is now switching to my doctor in Kansas. Don't waste your time, money or personal health with this office!

Dr. Thompson is a caring physician who spends as much time with his patients as needed, and follows up as quickly as he can. I'm lucky to have found him.

Dr. Thompson and the staff at Midtown Family Medicine have created a wonderful, caring, expert medical experience. They are quick to respond to calls and questions and give me all the time I need during my visits. I never feel rushed or ignored. Overall, I give Dr. Thompson my highest recommendation.

Great experience. Easy to park, easy to find office. Nice, knowledgable staff. Dr. Thompson gave me a lot of his time and followed up with me quick to let me know about some blood tests he ran. Really good guy. Not happy about having to go to the doctors office and if I get sick again, will definitely return to Dr. Thompson.
