      Dr. Smith has provided endodontic care to the area since 1983, performing over 20,000 successful root canals. He earned his undergraduate degree at Westminister College and post graduate residencies at UMKC School of Dentistry. Northwestern University in Chicago allowed him to earn a Masters degree in Endodontics. Dr. Smith became the first graduate-trained, Board Certified Endodontist in Kansas City in 1987. Dr.Smith attends continuing educational courses to stay at the forefront of his speciality so that he can provide optimal care to his patients. Dr. Smith is a member of several professional associations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists and the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Smith is a Delta Dental Premier, Cigna PPO provider, Dentemax, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, and DeCare provider. As a courtesy, claims are filed electronically to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which the patient is entitled.

      Regular HoursOffice hours are Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, we are closed on Fridays. Our office is closed for staff lunches from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. If you experience a dental emergency after hours & need to speak to the doctor, he can be paged 24 hours a day at 816-741-5480, option 5.
