Located in Kansas City, Mo., Della Lamb Elementary Charter School provides a range of general academic programs to more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, mathematics, science and social studies. Founded in 1999, the school is sponsored by the Central Missouri State University. The school also conducts classes in music, art and geography, as well as employs over 25 staff members. It provides food and transportation services. In addition, Della Lamb Elementary Charter School maintains a playground and gymnasium. It is governed by Della Lamb Community Services, which was founded in 1897 and offers several child care services and programs to low-income group families.
