Established in 1952, Davidson Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. Its syllabus includes English, mathematics, science, language arts and music. The school conducts classes in special and gifted education. It also maintains a library and media center that includes a range of books and reference and instructional materials. The school provides health, food and transportation services. It operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising events and programs. Located in Kansas City, Mo., the school employs nurses, custodians and counselors. In addition, Davidson Elementary School is a part of the North Kansas City School District, which owns and operates various elementary, middle and high schools.
