Located in Kansas City, Mo., Center Middle School serves more than 500 students in grades six through eight The school conducts classes in social studies, art, math, technology and science. It offers communication arts programs for the development of writing skills. Center Middle School also operates music and physical education departments, as well as organizes academic programs to identify and serve gifted students. The school provides special education classes for children suffering from mental and behavioral disorders. In addition, it offers various recreational activities that focus on topics related to character education, organization skills and time management. Center Middle School hosts a variety of sports activities, including football, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, golf and swimming. The school is a part of the Center School District.
