      Butler Manufacturing Company is a leader in the marketing, design, and production of systems and components for low-rise, nonresidential structures. The company s products and services are provided to the commercial, community, industrial, and agricultural markets. Its building systems division is involved in the design, manufacture, marketing, and sale of steel frame pre-engineered building systems. The division s products consist primarily of custom designed and pre-engineered one to eight-story steel buildings for use as offices, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, schools, shopping centers, livestock, farm buildings, and more. It s real estate division provides build-to-suit-to-lease development services for major corporations who prefer to lease, rather than own their facilities. Headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., the company is a subsidiary of BlueScope Steel, which purchased Butler in 2004. Butler was founded in 1901, and operates manufacturing, engineering, and service centers throughout the United States and 11 foreign countries.
