Over the years Raymond has rebuilt 4 engines for me, they were used in commercial trucks 2 ford and 2 gm, never a problem. One was abused by a former employee because he wanted a GM flatbed instead of a Ford box van, so he held the gas pedal on the floor for over 5 minuets hoping to blow it up, well it kept on going long after he was fired. They do great work!

Well i have not used a machine shop in over 10 years so i went and looked around and kept getting point to the people at Built Rite Engines in Parkville Mo. I took.my engine a 402 big block chevy to.them for a rebuild cost was $1500.00 it was bored and balanced they even put the oil pan and timing cover on it . Very knowledgeable and very open and honest people and do very good work.. much cheaper then a new crate engine qnd i knew what i had . Would reccomend them to any person who needs machine work or a engine built .

DO NOT!!!! use this shop at all. they will just screw you over. i spent alot of money with this shop to get some work done for my engine. i went with an aftermarket camshaft and im guessing they didn't measure the camshaft correctly or something because i expected the work to be dont right i put the engine togeather. then i got it put in the vehicle and got it started. upon starting it had a bad knock, so i instantly shut it back off. pulled the oil pan and checked everything, nothing was wrong with the crank or bearings. so i pulled the cam back out. cam bearings were screwed. called the shop and they didn't want to do anything about it.. they are just a bunch of theives
