Piper Elementary School West serves students in kindergarten through grade two. Its staff includes teachers, teaching assistants, technology and media specialists, counselors, Title I instructors, and office and support employees. The school offers a range of student programs in art, music and physical education. In addition, Piper Elementary School offers a variety of gifted and special education programs. It provides medical care, speech therapy and guidance counseling services to students. Located in Kansas City, Kan., Piper Elementary School West is a part of Piper Unified School District 203, which serves more than 1,500 students through its elementary, middle and high schools.
