Junction Elementary School is a learning center that offers a variety of educational opportunities to students in grades one through six. The school has an enrollment of more than 270 students and employs over 50 faculty members. It provides classes in fine arts and offers a range of support and counseling services. Junction Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher association that encourages parental involvement in children s education. The school features a cafeteria and organizes various educational field trips. It provides cheese sandwiches, cheeseburgers, hot dogs and chicken noodles for lunch. Junction Elementary School also offers nursing and transportation services, as well as administers the English Language Learners program. Located in Kansas City, Kan., it is a part of Turner Unified School District 202.
