What an amazing experience!

No kids. No pets. Only you and your significant other in the themed room of your choice. We stayed in the Roman Dynasty suite. A must do if in the KC area. Only drawback is that they don't offer room service (other than dessert) and there aren't a ton of great restaurants around the area. Check in is at 4pm, and the whole point of going is to stay in the room...so my suggestion would be to either take something with you (nice meat and cheese plate to go with some wine perhaps) or go to dinner immediately so that you can get back to the room and enjoy yourselves! Paulo and Bill was a good restaurant.

In 2013 the hotel renovated a number of the Classic corporate suites to better serve the needs of our business clientele. With wifi and wired internet, new desks and executive chairs and study lamps the Chateau Avalon is now the best hotel in the West KC market for overnight business stays.
