I highly recommend Marcy to anyone looking for a midwife. I have had 2 hospital births (without medication) and wanted to try a home birth with my third pregnancy. The entire process was wonderful! Marcy and Alice (her assistant) were both so supportive and personal at every appointment. The birth went well. Marcy and Alice were so profesional and encouraging I never once felt like I needed more care or wanted to be at the hospital. (I was a little concerned that I might get nervous about being at home but the thought never entered my mind.) The whole expereince was wonderful and I wouldn't trade it for the world. In fact it has me considering more children. I struggled with post pardom depression pretty badly after my second child and was concerned it might become an issue again. It wasn't a problem at all and I am convinced that a huge portion of that is due to the care I had before, during and after the birth from Marcy.
