Northwood Elementary serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes art, music, science, English, math, computer applications, and health and physical education. Northwood Elementary has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access. The school offers a preparatory and Title 1 programs. Northwood Elementary has a staff that includes a guidance counselor, speech pathologist, librarian and general classroom teachers. The school offers a lunch program that is operated in accordance with the Department of Agriculture. Located in Kalamazoo, Mich., Northwood Elementary is a part of the Parchment School District.
