Founded in 1909, the Kalamazoo Country Club is a family-oriented, private country club. The club features a tree-lined championship golf course with mature fairways and greens, a 9-hole executive course, tennis courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a fully stocked pro shop and a multi-purpose clubhouse. The clubhouse has three restaurant facilities: the 1909 Room features a fine dining menu and an adults-only atmosphere, the Mixed Grill Room is a family-oriented restaurant and the summertime patio is a casual daytime dining venue. In addition, the clubhouse offers private dining and meeting rooms, banquet and wedding facilities, and catering and event planning services. The club hosts a number of special events for its members, including Easter brunch, winter sledding, various pool activities, a 4th of July carnival and fireworks celebration, a junior golf program and several holiday parties.
