The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo provides education, mentoring and art programs, as well as several recreational activities. It provides access to educational materials, art supplies and safe recreational equipment for school-aged children. The organization operates a drama club that focuses on the basics of theater, including occasional public performances. It also offers digital arts courseware that consists of Web page and graphic design, photo illustration, and movie and music technology. In addition, the organization conducts residential camps that include several activities, such as hiking, swimming, biking, arts and crafts, fishing and field sports. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo has been operational since 1953 and is located in Kalamazoo, Mich.
