Established in 1944, Bethany Christian Services is a nonprofit, pro-life, Christian adoption and family services agency. The organization serves more than 30,000 individuals each year. It offers foster care services for children who are abused and neglected by their families. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich., the organization maintains an office in Kalamazoo, Mich. In addition, Bethany Christian Services provides a variety of adoption, social, housing and volunteer services to children. The organization s members include the National Council for Adoption, Christian Charities USA, Independent Charities of America, North American Association of Christian Social Workers and North American Council on Adoptable Children.
