"Elio Novoa, M.D., specializes in internal medicine. At Conviva Military Trail, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Novoa completed an internal medicine residency at Sinai Hospital, an affiliate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, in Baltimore, Maryland, from May 1981 to June 1984, and an internship a Sinai Hospital from May 1981 to June 1984. He earned his medical degree from Dominica University of Medical Sciences in the Commonwealth of Dominica, West Indies, from January 1977 to January 1981. Dr. Novoa obtained a Florida Clinical Laboratory Licensure, Medical Technician, from Mercy Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital Miami, Florida, from January 1974 to December 1976. He received a Bachelor of Science from Fray Luis Amigo College in San Felipe, Venezuela, in June 1973. Dr. Novoa obtained Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, ECFMG, certification in July 1980. He has practiced internal medicine in Jupiter, Florida, since July 1984 and joined Jupiter Medical Group, now part of Conviva, in April 2004. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, and the American Society of Internal Medicine."
