Alaska Seaplane Service operates scheduled flights from Juneau International Airport to the communities of Angoon, Tenakee Springs, Pelican and Elfin Cove with straight float and amphibious aircraft. The company Carries passengers, freight, US mail and UPS shipments to and from all four deatinations and also offers charters flights throughout Southeast. Alaska Seaplane Service also operates three DeHavilland Beaver aircraft and one Cessna 180, and utilizes Capstone technology; a significant safety tool allowing the pilots to fly using a moving GPS map, continually depicting the plane's proximity to terrain, weather and other aircraft.
