Great place to work, Friendly co-workers. Safety is a REAL top priority here, If something is unsafe they fix it that day. The cereal they make is top quality, they make sure its standards are matched if not exceeding those of Name brand cereals. Clean facility, saw one fly in locker room the two years I worked there.

Gilster manufactures cake and bread mixes, pancake mixes, drink mixes, frostings, whipped topping, marshmallow items, biscuit mix, rice and pasta, macaroni and cheese, potatoes, popcorn, stuffing, cereal, instant rice, soup, sauce and gravy. The Joplin, Mo. plant is 120,000 square feet and manufactures, warehouses and distributes ready-to-eat breakfast cereals. The company also has manufacturing facilities in Illinois and Arkansas. Glister-Mary Lee was founded in 1895.
