E.J. Swint Elementary School, founded in 1969, offers enrollment to more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It offers an academic program that focuses on the development of reading, language arts and math skills education. It also offers classes in physical education, art, music and computer application. It has various enrichment activities, such as arts and crafts, cooking, computer, guidance, language arts, homework assistance and movement. The school also has a parent-teacher organization that supports school activities and programs. It also offers psychologist, guidance counselor and social worker services to students. E.J. Swint Elementary School has association with Kroger, Swint Feed and Garden Supply and Reese Insurance. The elementary school is located in Jonesboro, Ga.
