Velocita Technology is owned by Frank Brandolino who has been servicing the greater Will County community for over 23 years. Frank's experience operating a computer store came from over 13 years of experience managing the service and support efforts of Inacomp Computer Center of Joliet starting in 1985. A pioneer in the computer industry Inacomp was a nationally known leader in creating the computer revolution. Inacomp Computer Center of Joliet owned by Dick Starmann and Ken Johnson (who also owned Starmanns' Inc. a "Joliet Icon" which was started in 1932) sold the business in 1997. Frank started Velocita Technology in 1997 which resided in Elwood, IL until March of 2005 when Velocita Technology moved to it's brand new location located at 50 Barney Drive in Joliet, IL. Velocita Technology, an authorized sales and service center for most major computer, video surveillance, telephone, access control and software manufactures, provides it's clients proven solutions created by certified experts. Velocita Technology's location at 50 Barney Drive in Joliet, contains a state of the art walk in service center providing for drop off service or immediate service for those emergency situations. Amazing service

I would recommend this company to any local business owner. We arrived at our office this morning to find that we had a surge hit us overnight. We had 4 computers and 1 printer that would not power on. We ordered this equipment from Dell direct and called them first. They said they couldn't get out to perform service for at least 48 hours. We couldn't wait that long. We rely on our computers to run our business. We called around and found Velocita and they had a tech out within just a few hours. They had everything fixed up the same day and even worked directly with our insurance company to handle all the paperwork. As you could guess we won't be working with Dell any more. Thanks goes out to Eric and the tech team at Velocita.

A Diamond in the Ruff

We have our own tech department within our school district however they are very busy. I could not wait for them to address my problem so I received approval to call Velocita Technology to help me out. We had a laptop that would not power on and our new software upgrade required a memory upgrade for our server. I spoke to Bill to get the ball rolling and 48 hours later my laptop is up and running and my server has been upgraded. Thanks Velocita!!

Hi, I just wanted everyone to know about the fantastic service I have received from the folks over at Velocita Technology in Joliet. Between my wife, my kids and myself we have 4 laptop computers that are about 3 - 4 years old. Times have been pretty tight lately so instead of replacing the computers I chose to upgrade 2 of them with Windows 7 and memory upgrades. It took Velocita 3 days to get the memory in and for us to get our computers back with Windows 7 installed. This is the first time I personally have ever used Velocita however they came highly recommended from my neighbor and from my pastor. I am so glad I took the computers there, they were fare and very cost effective for what we needed to have done. I did see another review here that was not so favorable, but I had superb service and I am extreamly happy. I even met the owner, he was also very helpful. I won't be going to Best Buy anymore, "Best Buy" is not the best buy for me. One comment that I will make regarding the other reviewer who mentions that it took 2 weeks to get the memory in for their computer; just because it was a Compaq does not mean that it is easy to get the memory upgrade. Every model that these manufactures make seems to take a different part number when it comes to memory upgrades, the older the computer the harder it is to get.

Just got a virus and needed to bring my computer in for repair. I spoke to our supervisor and he instructed me to call Velocita Technology. I am new here and never had a computer problem yet. I am writing this because of my great experience with Velocita compaired to the tech company that my last employer used. I called Velocita a tech was here that afternoon and had my computer working again within an hour and a half. I was happy, my boss was happy. Thanks Velocita!!

Wow! I cannot believe that I am writing this review this evening. Well allow me to explain, I took my computer over to the Best Buy - you know the Geek Squad, my first mistake. After my system being at the Best Buy for 19 days I received a call explaining that my power supply and my memory went bad and that it would cost me over $370 for the repair. I was surprised to see them take so long to diagnose my computer and I was a little leary after speaking with a young man that could not be a day older than 18 year old grandson, he did not seem to confident in his diagnosis so I chose to pick up the computer. I was not sure what to do now so I called a friend who works at a local school and they suggest bringing it to where they get there computers from, Velocita. I had no idea there was such a diamond in the ruff so close to me. I took it to Velocita and Steven explained to me that my system was infected and it would be a simple virus cleanup. I just dropped it off at Velocita yes

I had problems with my desktop and my laptop computer. First my desktop seemed to slow down to a screeching halt so I started using my laptop. Within a week the laptop started smoking, it scared me to death but I saw puff of smoke coming from the keyboard area and the computer started getting very warm. I unpluged it and did not know what to do. I called my brother who works with computers at Silver Cross and he suggested who they use, Velocita Technology, what a god sent. I looked up their phone number called and spoke to Tim. Tim explained to me my service options and I chose to bring my repair into their store. Tim was there to greet me and I checked in both my computers. The next day I got a call and the desktop was ready however my notebook would need parts. It sounded like a good idea to get the parts and repair the laptop as well. I picked up my desktop so I could continue my computing endevors and the laptop a week later. Velocita Rocks!!! Tim gets an A+ from me.

Hi just recieved my laptop back after bringing it in yesterday for repair at Velocita. I had no video on my laptop however it sounded like the system was still running. Darn loose cable, after speaking with Steven he had said that he had found that the video cable pluged into some board inside had came loose. He was very nice and new his stuff. I am so happy, I just had to write this review, its working again! I would highly recommend Velocita Technology for service. Janice

2 Weeks & Counting

Fully disappointed in this company, I took my computer in for repair. It turns out the memory needed to upgraded, they originally ordered a memory card that would not work in my pc. Then order a replacement, told a me a few more days at best, at this point it is has been 2 wks & counting to get my pc back. My question has to be how can they order a memory card that wouldn't work in my pc? It is not like I own a 1 of kind pc, it a compaq laptop.....
