Taft Elementary School is a part of Joliet Public Schools District 86, and offers elementary-level students a variety of programs and activities for their spiritual, academic and physical development. The school s academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, social science, charter science, health and safety, art, music and physical education. Joliet Public Schools District 86 additionally offers a gifted program beginning in the third grade, and various bilingual programs for students requiring these services.
