Established in 1876, Joliet Public Library serves numerous individuals in the community. Based in Joliet, Ill., the library maintains a collection of more than 300,000 books and about 400 magazine subscriptions. It offers literature and study material in various categories, including English literature, history, biographies, arts, classics, religion as well as fiction titles. In addition, the library provides a range of audio books, movies and music in CD and DVD format. Joliet Public Library also offers meeting rooms for various community gatherings.
