Needed my laptop screen fixed. I have to say, the screen looks nice and works perfect. However I had a few problems with it. The shop was dead when I went in, and they couldn't give me a cost estimate for the repair. They told me I had to drop it off and that they would call me. They called me about an hour later and said they had a screen in the shop and could fix it, but couldn't tell me whether the screen was new or used. I then noticed the next day that I was charged a $25.00 "CARRY IN QUICK FIX RATE." Honestly, because they couldn't tell me whether my screen was new or used, and that I got charged a "QUICK FIX" fee, I feel kind of ripped off. Again, the screen works perfectly fine, I just felt like they were trying to hide something and nickel and dime me. 3/5 stars

I had an awful experience with Tec Direct. I discussed the urgency for my computer, but after numerous calls to their office, I finally got it back after 2 weeks. My initial issue was freezing, and the dreaded black screen (Microsoft did not shut down properly), upon receipt of my computer, the problem was not solved, in fact it was worsened. I now have trouble with the blue crash screen of death. I brought the computer back, now not working properly for 4 weeks, and they claimed that ther was nothing wrong with it. It has been over 6 weeks with my computer not running properly. I felt that the staff was dry and had no intention of really working with me, but instead handed the blame off to another technician. I would highly suggest bringing your computer elsewhere.
