I am looking for a new primary care physician. I requested to meet with the doctor before I committed to anything by filling out paperwork. They don't do this. I think it's so inhumane that I cannot meet and see if I even like the doctor before I leave my care in the hands of somebody. I would not hire a freaking plumber without meeting him first.

numerous practices are unprofessional. They maintain the "Cr. God" mentality and pressure patients into submission rather than forthrightness. I was to be a new patient, and I was threatened today that they would not see me if I upset anyone. I was shuffled into their "walk-in" clinic with chest pains, left to sit there for 30 minutes before I demanded to lie down. Etc. etc. That "visit" was my first, only and will be my last to this medical group. I am filing a formal complaint with the pertinent agencies immediately: indeed, I sent their "walkin" e-mail address a lengthy synopsis two days afterward, even at that length, I did not give all of the improprieties. The fact that my confidential medical interfaces with these folks are tossed about without regard of my civil patients' rights continues to disturb me, and I hope it does you.

They abuse you like they're the only game in town.



They aren't.



Instead of admitting their obvious, documented errors, they attack.



My dad was a physician, my sis is an rn, and I have a vast background in medical/legal/patients' rights advocacy work.



I have NEVER come across such behavior in my life and I'll do what I can to spare anyone else having to.
