Established in 1965, the Emmanuel School of Religion is a graduate seminary supported by the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. Its program areas include Christian ministry and doctrine, as well as old and new testament. The seminary s Christian ministry curriculum includes Christian education, church administration, evangelism, preaching and counseling. The Emmanuel School of Religion maintains a library that offers a variety of books, periodicals and newsletters. It operates a bookstore that sells textbooks and a range of apparel. The seminary is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. The Emmanuel School of Religion is located in Johnson City, Tenn.
